I will be honest I have never baked with Almond Flour before. Mostly because my husband is allergic to all nuts so I have to be really careful about what the product comes in contact with. However, I have been wanting to make a more “healthy” version of a chocolate chip cookie and I found this great recipe for Raw Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough on one of my favorite food blogs, Texanerin.com so I decided to make them! I am so glad I did! They are delicious! I’m sure this Almond Flour by MorningPep had something to do with it. The quality of flour is excellent, it’s made from 100% whole blanched almonds, it’s light and fluffy and you can tell it is very fresh. The MorningPep Blanched Almond Flour is low in carbohydrates and is a good source of protein, fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium and vitamin E.
This Almond flour is also a great option if you have Gluten allergies!
